Most companies invest in innovation to ensure their future profitability and competitiveness; but do they really know how to translate innovation into concrete business value? In this Expert View, we offer insights into the organizational and technological aspects of innovation and provide recommendations – based on a recent teknowlogy survey of companies in Germany, Switzerland and Austria, conducted on behalf of Accenture. The goal of this study was to determine whether, and if so, to what extent companies are able to derive actual value from innovation projects.
