Over a third of CxO survey respondents (37%) in the USA consider the search for new customers and sources of revenue as a significant challenge. This is most pronounced in manufacturing (42%), as companies have started to build direct-to-consumer sales channels, and in retail & wholesale (46%), where e-commerce has been gaining market share fast, especially given the mobility restrictions during the pandemic. The go-to-market strategies require agility and innovation to address the rapidly changing market environment; this is seen as a major challenge by 45% of manufacturing companies and 42% of financial services institutions.
