This report aims to:

  • Present relevant OEM-independent OS players in the context of vehicles and robots;
  • Develop an appropriate market segmentation to outline the current vendor landscape.

We will have a look at two groups of vendors – first, incumbent vendors of real-time operating systems (RTOS) which have been safety-certified for vehicles, robots, and other smart devices; second, newly emerging vendors with the ambition to obtain safety certification for their OS.
