SAP recently reported its financial results for the second quarter and first 6 months of 2021, which ended June 30th 2021.
Revenue for Q2 2021 was EUR 6.67 billion, a 1% drop compared to EUR 6.74 billion in the second quarter of the previous year, Operating Profit dropped by 23% to EUR 984 million and Profit after Tax went up by 64% to EUR 1.45 billion.
For the first 6 months of the year revenue registered was EUR 13 billion with a 2% drop year over year from H1 2020, Operating Profit shrank by 22% to EUR 1.94 billion and Profit after Tax went up 48% to EUR 2.52 billion.
By segments, Cloud and Software rose by 1% to EUR 5.75 billion and Services shrank by 11% to EUR 920 million.
For the H1 period Cloud and Software rose by 1% to EUR 11.2 billion and Services dropped by 15% to EUR 1.84 billion.
By geography, for the second quarter of 2021 we have the following results: EMEA increased by 3% to EUR 3.02 billion, Americas shrank by 6% to EUR 2.62 billion and APJ remained flat at EUR 1.03 billion.
For the first 6 months of 2021 EMEA rose 3% to EUR 5.85 billion, Americas went down by 8% to EUR 5.14 billion and APJ rose by 1% to EUR 2.02 billion.
